About the Role

Change Manager positions are responsible for working with Alberta businesses once new rates have been approved by client and proceeding with next steps. This includes, information gathering for contract creation, soft credit requirements, securing rates and providing next steps on any billing changes if required.

Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, engineering, or environmental science is preferred.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in energy management, utility operations, or a related field is required.

  • Project management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, while ensuring that changes are implemented effectively and efficiently.

  • Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Technical knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of energy systems, including electricity, gas, water, and waste, and their regulatory frameworks.

  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and solve complex problems, as well as anticipate and mitigate potential issues.

  • Customer focus: Strong customer-focused approach, with a willingness to understand and meet the needs of customers.

  • Stakeholder management: Ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders, including energy providers, regulators, and internal teams.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to change, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Regulatory compliance: Strong understanding of energy regulations and compliance requirements, and the ability to ensure that the business is compliant.
