Is there a fee for utility rate check or any hidden fees? No, All rate checks are 100% complementry to all registered business in Alberta.

How long does it take to have a rate check?  Approximately 1-2 business days

How much time do you require from our business? Less than 30 minutes to upload or email recent invoices and review updated rates and or agreements.

What if we have utility services in other provinces, can we still have a rate check ? No, unfortunately Alberta Utility Services offer rate checks for registered businesses in Alberta.

How soon can we expect to see the rate change? Once approved, new rates and will be applied on next billing period.

Will our billing change? If a lower rate is presented from another provider and that provider is choosen, a new bill will be issued from the new provider.

If a new provider is chosen, do I need to cancel my existing services? No, when the service is changed the bill is the only item that will change and the service will automatically cancel when the new service provider takes over.

Should I fix my rate or float the market?  Depending on the current rates and business operations, all options will be presented and recommended based the Alberta market today.

We are coming up for renewal. Can Alberta Utility Services provide utility rates?   Yes, we are happy to assist and provide rates from multiple services providers in Alberta.

Is Alberta Utility Services a utility broker?   No however, we collaborate with utility brokers to facilitate the implementation of services and provide ongoing support to our clients. We outsource to experienced utility brokers who work closely with us to ensure the smooth execution of our services. This collaborative approach allows us to leverage the expertise and resources of utility brokers while delivering comprehensive solutions and support to our customers.
